Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- eligible to work in the United States
- consistent access to a reliable vehicle
- ownership of a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart Shopper app
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- pass background check as required
- valid driver’s license if delivering orders that require driving
- have a smartphone with a data plan
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in retail, delivery, or customer service is beneficial but not required
- basic knowledge of mobile apps and navigation tools
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to lift and carry grocery bags
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record appreciated but not mandatory
Job Duties
- receive and accept customer orders through the Instacart Shopper app
- shop for groceries accurately and efficiently from local stores
- deliver groceries to customers' doors in a timely and courteous manner
- communicate with customers and support if any issues arise
- maintain the quality and integrity of delivered products
- follow all company policies and safety guidelines
- manage time effectively to maximize earnings potential
