Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- eligible to work in the United States
- consistent access to a personal vehicle
- ownership of a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart Shopper app
- ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- reliable and punctual
- good physical condition for lifting and carrying items
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus
- familiarity with using smartphones and mobile apps
- strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to lift and carry groceries
- valid driver's license (for deliveries involving driving)
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- receive and review customer orders via the Instacart Shopper app
- shop for groceries and household items accurately and efficiently at local stores
- ensure proper handling and packaging of perishable and fragile items
- deliver orders promptly to customers' doorsteps while maintaining excellent customer service
- manage flexible working hours and scheduling
- follow safety and hygiene protocols during shopping and delivery
- communicate effectively with customers and support teams as needed
