Job Requirements

High school education or equivalent
At least 1 year of appropriate technical training including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
At least 2 years of mechanical inspection experience in a close tolerance machining job shop preferred
Experience with hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges
Ability to use coordinate measuring machines
Working knowledge of ISO standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and inspection specifications
Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to perform detailed inspections and maintain accurate records

Job Qualifications

High school education or equivalent
At least 1 year of appropriate technical training including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
At least 2 years of first piece and in-process mechanical inspection experience preferred
Ability to utilize manufacturing software systems
Knowledge and experience with surface plate inspection and coordinate measuring machines
Working knowledge of ISO standards
Ability to work from blueprints, inspection specifications, and instructions
Strong attention to detail and precision measurement skills
