Job Description
STI is a leading company specializing in the inspection services of all Downhole Tubular Goods, providing cutting-edge technology paired with highly trained inspectors. We deliver exceptional service to clients by ensuring that their tubular tools and equipment meet the highest standards for safety, durability, and operational readiness. STI is committed to quality assurance and customer satisfaction through rigorous inspection protocols and excellence in technical expertise. Our reputation is grounded in our ability to provide precise evaluations that help the oilfield industry maintain operational efficiency and safety compliance.
STI is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inspection Assistant/Helper to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is vital in supporting inspectors by assisting in the testing and evaluation processes designed to detect defects and ensure the quality of tubular products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a solid safety mindset, with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and manipulating heavy objects exceeding 50 pounds. Prior experience in the oilfield is preferred but not mandatory, and a willingness to learn, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in a team environment is essential.
The Inspection Assistant/Helper will play an instrumental role in preparing and setting up Non-destructive Testing (NDT) equipment under the guidance of skilled inspectors. This job entails hands-on involvement with advanced testing technologies and adhering to strict safety and quality protocols. Candidates will be expected to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a trustworthy and honest work ethic. Dependability and having reliable transportation are also important requirements, as consistent attendance is crucial for operational success.
This position offers a challenging yet rewarding career opportunity for individuals interested in technical inspection roles within the oil and gas sector. STI fosters a supportive work environment that values safety, teamwork, and professional development. If you are motivated, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a respected company in the tubular goods inspection industry, we encourage you to apply and join us in delivering superior inspection services that meet and exceed industry standards.
