The Inshop Crew Member is key to Jimmy John’s success thanks to their role in rapidly preparing delicious sandwiches, efficiently taking customer orders, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting overall restaurant operations. The store operates a “freaky fast” work pace, where speed and accuracy are critical—sandwiches are expected to be ready in 30 seconds or less, and customer deliveries are generally completed in under 12 minutes.

Members of the crew will engage in a variety of tasks which include preparing fresh ingredients, operating the cash register and handling cash transactions, answering phones, and ensuring that the restaurant environment is clean and inviting at all times. Crew members act as frontline ambassadors for the Jimmy John’s brand by greeting customers with a smile and eye contact, fostering a friendly atmosphere, and ensuring that customer experiences meet the company’s high standards. The position requires team players who can work well with others, adhere to food safety and security guidelines, and consistently execute quality store operations.

This is a part-time or full-time hourly position offering competitive pay ranging from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and availability. Daytime availability and the ability to work during high-volume lunch periods are necessary for success in this role. The physical demands include regularly lifting 30 to 40 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and working in refrigeration and freezer units with temperatures ranging from 40 degrees Fahrenheit to -10 degrees Fahrenheit.
