The role of Mixing Technician at Crane Currency on the 2nd shift (2PM to 10PM, Monday through Friday) is a hands-on, detail-oriented position critical to the product development and manufacturing process. The successful candidate will plan and prepare fluid batches according to production schedules and shelf life requirements. This entails executing precise quality tests and ensuring accurate and complete documentation to maintain product integrity and compliance. Additionally, the Mixing Technician will contribute to process improvements and coordinate routine maintenance on mixing equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to perform basic equipment repairs, and a focus on safety and quality.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • able to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in chemical mixing or culinary mixing preferred
  • strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
  • ability to work 2nd shift 2PM-10PM Monday-Friday
  • willing to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
  • detail-oriented with strong organizational and math skills
  • drug-free workplace compliance
  • willing to undergo background investigation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • knowledge of measurements and ability to scale batch sizes using calculations
