The Injection Supervisor role at Airlite Plastics is a vital position within the Omaha team. This full-time role entails overseeing manufacturing processes within an assigned production area to guarantee smooth, efficient, and safe operations. The Injection Supervisor serves as a crucial link between production staff and senior leadership, ensuring that all activities adhere to quality and safety standards. They are responsible for monitoring equipment performance, assisting with production tasks as needed, and maintaining appropriate records and reports. As a front-line leader, the Injection Supervisor manages team member assignments, supports training efforts for new employees, and addresses minor personnel concerns while escalating complex employee relations issues to senior management.

- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- three years of front-line supervisory experience
- able to read and interpret safety and operational documents in English

Job Duties
- Oversee assigned production operations to ensure efficiency, quality and safety standards are met
- coordinate and assign tasks to production team members, ensuring optimal labor utilization
- ensure new team members are properly trained on operations, safety protocols and company policies
- monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and adjust as necessary
- collaborate with other departments to coordinate production activities and resolve production or quality issues
- escalate equipment issues for necessary repairs or processing adjustments to appropriate personnel to minimize downtime
- maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime and quality issues
- prepare and submit reports to production leadership as requested
- ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution and team building
- identify employees with potential for development and facilitate employee development with leadership support
- responsible for reporting food safety problems to management
- other duties and audits as assigned
