Job Duties
- Welcome guests and provide courteous, friendly service
- respond to requests for visitor passes according to policy
- provide accurate directions and wayfinding assistance
- distribute and file visitor passes
- confirm patient locations and check for special privileges or restrictions
- issue Veri-rep cards to vendors and guide them to kiosks
- direct conference participants to meeting areas
- answer telephones promptly and professionally, take messages or transfer calls
- enforce access control and security policies
- resolve guest complaints using positive problem solving
- maintain accurate monetary exchange for newspaper sales
- coordinate delivery of mail, flowers, and gifts
- escort patients to assigned areas by wheelchair
- sign-in patients into Epic system
- announce patients to registration
- make confirmation calls for patients
- communicate maintenance needs for lobby cleanliness and functionality
- explain parking fees and discount programs
- maintain relationships with departments for guest service
- attend in-service training and staff meetings
- complete shift procedures and ensure smooth transition
- respond to emergencies per protocol
- maintain confidentiality and professional appearance
- maintain clean and organized information desk
- assist volunteers and perform other duties as assigned
- stand throughout shift and assist patients physically
