Job Description
Venice Family Clinic is a prominent healthcare organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality health services to underserved populations. With a team of more than 500 compassionate staff members, the clinic supports around 45,000 individuals across a broad region that stretches from the Santa Monica Mountains to the South Bay area. The organization operates an extensive network of clinics, Early Head Start centers, mobile clinics, and a robust street medicine program aimed at reaching people experiencing homelessness. Venice Family Clinic is widely respected for its commitment to delivering healthcare with compassion, dignity, and respect, making a significant impact on the community it serves. By joining this organization, one becomes part of a mission-driven team focused on improving lives, particularly among vulnerable populations such as children and families facing economic and social challenges.
The role of Infant Toddler Teacher at Venice Family Clinic is essential in supporting the development and early education of children. This position involves the creation, implementation, and supervision of center-based activities tailored specifically for infants and toddlers, contributing to their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth. The individual in this role works closely with Early Head Start families to foster trusting relationships and collaborate with both families and staff to provide comprehensive services that support the child’s well-being. The Infant Toddler Teacher is responsible for maintaining a safe and nurturing learning environment where young children can thrive. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, patience, and an understanding of early childhood education principles. The position is hourly, offering a competitive wage range of $21.92 to $33.99 per hour, with compliance to Senate Bill 525, which ensures minimum wage standards for healthcare workers. Given the importance of early childhood development in shaping lifelong outcomes, the Infant Toddler Teacher contributes directly to the positive futures of children in the community.
