Job Description

ResCare Community Living, a distinguished part of the Sevita family, has been a dedicated supporter of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1974. As a provider of quality home and community-based services, ResCare empowers individuals to achieve a higher level of independence and an enhanced quality of life. Their person-centered approach focuses on providing tailored supports that foster skill development, overcome daily challenges, and promote personal growth. As a division of Sevita, a leading national provider with over 40,000 team members, ResCare benefits from a strong legacy of innovation and commitment to improving lives across the United States. This commitment is reflected in the comprehensive care and individualized supports offered to approximately 50,000 individuals nationwide.

Sevita’s mission centers on the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a full, independent life regardless of their physical, intellectual, or behavioral challenges. This ethos underpins the work of ResCare Community Living as they strive to deliver services that enable their clients to live well within their homes and communities. The organization values a diverse and inclusive workforce, emphasizing equal opportunity and nondiscrimination. Importantly, this role requires a meticulous, detail-oriented approach combined with strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. The ability to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and those served is essential. Through this role, individuals have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those they support, shaping the quality and effectiveness of care delivered within the community.

This position offers various scheduling options including full-time, part-time, and as-needed, reflecting a flexible approach to employment. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, which includes 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and holiday pay. The work environment emphasizes teamwork, job security, and career advancement opportunities, making it a rewarding place to grow professionally while contributing to a cause that transforms lives.
