Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family entertainment and dining, known for its famous brands Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 47 states and 17 foreign countries and territories, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for families through a unique combination of fun, food, and play. Chuck E. Cheese has been a beloved destination for children and families for decades, hosting over half a million birthday parties each year. The company is committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment focused on enjoyment and quality, supported by industry-leading programs such as Kid Check, which enhances guest safety.
Chuck E. Cheese Adventure World represents the next evolution in family entertainment, a bold new concept that is debuting soon in Chandler, AZ, following its introduction in Arlington, Texas. This innovative venue is designed to inspire imagination and provide incredible play experiences where kids can explore, create, and have fun alongside Chuck E. and his friends. The Adventure World concept builds on the strong legacy of Chuck E. Cheese by combining engaging activities, delicious food, interactive games, and party events in an environment that is both fun and secure for all guests.
As a Senior Assistant Manager at Chuck E. Cheese Adventure World, you will play a crucial role in delivering on the company’s promise that "every guest leaves happy." This high-energy, rewarding management opportunity involves leading a diverse team, making daily operational decisions, and ensuring the smooth and profitable running of the venue. Your leadership will impact many aspects of the business, including staff scheduling, product quality, guest service excellence, cost control, inventory management, sales maximization, and safety compliance. From overseeing the kitchen and ensuring food safety to managing sales operations at the cashier, salad bar, and gift shop, this role requires comprehensive knowledge and hands-on management skills.
Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the technical upkeep of the gameroom in collaboration with the Technical Manager, maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the play areas, and maximizing party bookings and guest satisfaction. Working at Chuck E. Cheese Adventure World means embracing challenges such as coordinating employee scheduling, maintaining cleanliness standards, motivating a team to exceed expectations, and applying sound financial and labor management principles. You will also have the opportunity to utilize and develop essential skills such as coaching, effective communication, resourcefulness, ethics, and time management.
CEC Entertainment is committed to the health and safety of its employees and guests, with rigorous sanitation protocols and operational procedures that comply with or surpass local requirements. The company is an equal opportunity employer valuing diverse perspectives and backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive workplace. For eligible U.S. employees, CEC offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan, alongside job training and career advancement opportunities. The company also promotes financial wellness with its unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing employees access to earned wages without waiting for the next paycheck.
This role is ideal for individuals who meet the minimum qualifications—a high school diploma or GED, at least 21 years of age (with possible exceptions based on local laws and regional approvals), and a minimum of two years of people management experience in the food service industry or one year as an Assistant Manager within CEC. Physical demands include lifting objects up to 50 pounds and being able to stand, bend, kneel, and perform other physical tasks throughout the shift in a lively environment with diverse conditions.
Joining Chuck E. Cheese Adventure World means becoming a vital part of a dynamic team focused on delivering unforgettable experiences for families while advancing your management career in the vibrant field of family entertainment and hospitality.
