This commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive culture permeates the company’s operations and is a key factor in their ongoing success and expansion. With a diverse range of hotels under their management, including upscale and boutique properties, Ascent Hospitality prides itself on high standards in hospitality, service, and operational excellence. The company continuously seeks talented individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Ascent Hospitality is currently seeking a dynamic and uniquely qualified Bartender to join their team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about mixology and eager to stay ahead of beverage trends. As a Bartender at Ascent Hospitality, you will play a pivotal role in creating an energetic and inviting atmosphere behind the bar. Your responsibilities extend beyond mixing drinks to include engaging guests with warm conversations, providing helpful suggestions, and offering a diverse, seasonally-inspired beverage menu that enhances the overall guest experience. This position requires a high level of creativity and customer service skills, as you will be expected to craft artisan cocktails and specialty drinks that delight guests and encourage repeat visits.
In addition to preparing and serving beverages, the Bartender is responsible for maintaining the bar’s cleanliness, stocking inventory, and ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and corporate regulations regarding alcoholic beverage service. The role also includes managing cash transactions through a point-of-sale system, securing funds, and balancing registers. Flexibility in working hours is essential, as the Bartender will be working various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the hotel’s guests.
This position offers competitive salary and benefits, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, paid time off, uniforms for most positions, and access to a team member hotel discount program. Ideal candidates should possess at least one year of bar experience, knowledge of spirits and wines, and preference is given to those with hotel experience. Candidates should also bring excellent customer service skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a professional, energetic attitude. Overall, this role provides a fantastic opportunity to grow within a hospitality company that values innovation, teamwork, and outstanding service.
