The In-Seat Runner role at Legends Global presents an outstanding opportunity to deliver exceptional guest service in the unique environment of Yankee Stadium during baseball games. This position is focused on ensuring an exceptional in-seat experience by delivering food and beverage orders to guests seated in the first 16 rows of the stadium. The role demands a high level of personal service, attention to detail, and the ability to interact positively with guests to exceed their expectations. The In-Seat Runner must navigate stairs and guest seating areas with agility and efficiency, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor throughout the event.
This position requires excellent team collaboration as you will work alongside fellow associates and other service departments within the stadium to ensure seamless service operations. Responsibilities include running preordered food, soda, water, wine, draft beer, and bottled beer to guest seats, supporting the service staff by cleaning and clearing service areas, and handling opening, closing, and side work duties assigned during the event day. A key part of the role is maintaining knowledge of other food, beverage, and retail options within Yankee Stadium to assist guests effectively.
Candidates for this role should expect a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment, requiring them to be on their feet for extended periods, carrying trays with multiple food and beverage items and negotiating crowded stairs and seating areas. The work schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season, offering a competitive wage of $22.55 per hour. This role also provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in high-end club, catering, or restaurant service environments. Overall, the In-Seat Runner role is ideal for individuals who thrive in energetic team settings, enjoy engaging with guests, and are committed to delivering outstanding service with enthusiasm and professionalism at Yankee Stadium.
