The Culinary Team Member role under the direction of a stand manager, supervisor, manager, or chef, is pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient culinary operations. This position emphasizes maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times, adhering strictly to station requirements and food recipes, and executing food preparation with consistent quality. The candidate will be expected to apply their knowledge of basic culinary skills including knife techniques and fryer use, while remaining flexible and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment. Strict adherence to County Health and Sanitation standards as well as Legends Hospitality guidelines is mandatory.
This role requires multitasking abilities and a strong guest service orientation, always ensuring positive interactions and satisfaction. The Culinary Team Member will also take responsibility for the upkeep and regular cleaning of equipment, rotating between service locations as needed, and completing other duties assigned by management. This position is based on-site at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA, and is part-time and seasonal with an hourly rate of $26.00. Working hours may vary according to event schedules, including late nights, weekends, and holidays. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have at least one year of cooking experience, particularly in foodservice environments related to premium services, catering, or concessions in sports and entertainment venues. Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certificate
- must be willing to work hours that vary according to event schedule
- must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- constant standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- able to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year cooking experience in foodservice industry, preferably in premium services, catering, or concessions at sports and entertainment venues
- ability to communicate with coworkers and management
- strong commitment to high level customer and client service
- customer service oriented with ability to interact with all levels of management
- flexibility to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
