Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certificate
  • must be willing to work hours that vary according to event schedule
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 1 year cooking experience in the foodservice industry, preferably in premium services, catering, and concessions environments for a sports and entertainment venue
  • ability to communicate with co-workers and management
  • strong commitment to delivering high-level customer and client service with demonstrated initiative and culinary skills
  • customer service oriented with ability to interact with all management levels
  • flexibility to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • high level of organization and attention to detail
  • ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • ability to smile, maintain positive body language, and provide consistent guest service
  • ability to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision

Job Duties

  • maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor always
  • timely execution of station requirements to specification of stand manager
  • follow recipes and cook them to desired specifications
  • apply basic knife skills and production techniques, including fryer production
  • maintain and abide by County Health/Sanitation and Legends Hospitality standards
  • multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • maintain positive guest relations
  • ensure that only the highest-quality product is served to guests
  • provide efficient service following management direction
  • ensure all equipment is operational and cleaned regularly
  • rotate to other service locations when necessary
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
