The role of a Food and Beverage Server at The Ritz-Carlton Honolulu involves being an essential ambassador of the hotel's renowned "Gold Standards." Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform
  • Completion of safety training and certification before employment
  • Valid work authorization in the United States
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent general educational development (GED)
  • At least 1 year of related work experience preferred
  • Good conversational skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality
  • Prior experience as a server considered a strong advantage

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and attend to tables promptly
  • Serve food and beverages to guests and provide recommendations when necessary
  • Share detailed menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
  • Accurately and timely record transactions in the MICROS system
  • Approach guests to ensure satisfaction with each dish and beverage
  • Clean tables, complete closing duties, and restock dishware and other supplies
