We are currently seeking enthusiastic and attentive In-Room Dining Servers to join our team. This full-time role offers a chance to be part of a dedicated group committed to delivering exceptional guest service. In-room dining servers are pivotal in creating memorable guest experiences by providing timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages directly to guest rooms. The role requires a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Servers are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, engage guests with genuine and friendly service, and uphold Hyatt’s standards of quality and cleanliness. Responsibilities include preparation and delivery of orders, ensuring food and beverages meet temperature standards, removing serving trays promptly, and maintaining sanitary conditions throughout the service process. This position demands physical stamina for walking long distances and standing for extended periods. Additionally, the role requires flexibility to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak seasons such as Spring Break and summer through Labor Day. Certification in California Food Handling and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) are mandatory for this role.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food and beverage service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Physical capability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
  • Must have California Food Handlers Certification
  • Must have California RBS Certification
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight
  • Full time availability including peak seasonal periods

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Refined customer service experience
  • Previous serving and food and beverage experience in a hotel environment preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Full time availability required with no restrictions for Spring Break and the Summer Season through Labor Day
  • Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight
  • California Food Handlers Certification required
