Pacific Hospitality Group is a distinguished company in the hospitality industry that operates with a unique owner/operator approach, providing exceptional value to both investors and team members. As a family-focused organization committed to long-term holdings, Pacific Hospitality Group emphasizes sustainable growth, business expansion, and employee development. The company’s vision centers on enriching people’s lives by offering memorable experiences, giving back to communities, and honoring God in all business dealings. This visionary approach places the company at the forefront of the hospitality sector, where they champion core principles such as integrity, compliance, value creation, principled entrepreneurship, customer focus, knowledge, change, humility, respect, and fulfillment. The company is dedicated to creating long-lasting relationships with guests and employees while ensuring a dynamic and supportive working environment that fosters growth.
The position of In-Room Dining (IRD) Server / Order Taker is an integral role within Pacific Hospitality Group’s hotel operations. This position is primarily responsible for delivering outstanding guest service by efficiently taking food and beverage orders, coordinating prompt and accurate delivery, and ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for hotel guests. Serving as the main point of contact for all in-room dining requests, the IRD Server / Order Taker must uphold the highest levels of hospitality, professionalism, and service excellence.
The role requires strong communication skills to answer in-room dining calls promptly and courteously, with an emphasis on accurate order input into the point-of-sale (POS) system. A thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials is essential, as this knowledge enables the individual to perform suggestive selling of menu options including beverages, desserts, and promotional items to enhance the guest experience.
Beyond order taking, the IRD Server / Order Taker coordinates with kitchen and service teams to manage special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergy information, ensuring the utmost care and attention to guest needs. Responsibilities also extend to preparing trays, carts, condiments, and delivering orders to guest rooms while adhering to established hotel service standards. Verification of order accuracy and guest satisfaction upon delivery is a key part of the role, along with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the in-room dining station and service areas.
The position demands the physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, maneuver heavy room service carts, lift and carry items up to 40 pounds, and frequently bend, reach, and carry food and beverages. Working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, flexibility in schedule is expected with availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic computer and POS proficiency are necessary to execute daily operational tasks successfully.
Pacific Hospitality Group is also recruiting for the Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) Coordinator for a new hotel opening. This role focuses on managing all OS&E procurement activities from project initiation to opening day, coordinating with various stakeholders including project teams, ownership, procurement, contractors, designers, and departmental leaders. The OS&E Coordinator ensures all operational supplies, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and office materials are installed, organized, and ready for the hotel launch.
Key duties involve developing and maintaining budgets, procurement schedules, and tracking reports, overseeing receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution of OS&E items. The coordinator assists in delivery, assembly, placement, and installation of hotel furniture and equipment, supports setup across guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and offices, and ensures departments remain fully equipped and operational according to schedule. This position requires the ability to conduct quality inspections, maintain inventory records, monitor expenditures for budget compliance, and assist with operational readiness activities including mock operations.
Physically, the OS&E Coordinator should be able to walk, stand, crouch, bend, reach, push and pull equipment, and occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity, finger dexterity for operating POS systems, and excellent communication skills are vital.
Pacific Hospitality Group prides itself on offering equal employment opportunities without discrimination or harassment based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, genetics, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other protected characteristic under federal, state, or local laws. This commitment extends to all areas of employment including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, compensation, and training, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace environment where every team member is valued and supported.
