Completing closing duties such as restocking items and turning off lights demonstrates the role’s involvement in operational efficiency. Additionally, processing payments accurately and professionally is critical to the seamless dining experience expected by the Ritz-Carlton clientele.

The server position also requires adherence to all company policies, specifically safety and security protocols. Reporting unsafe conditions and completing necessary safety training showcases the company's priority on workplace well-being. A professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information round out the expectations of the role. Interactions with guests must consistently reflect genuine appreciation and precise communication, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere for which the Ritz-Carlton is known.

From working on various surfaces to lifting objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and heavier with assistance, the physical demands are notable and require stamina and careful attention to safety. The ability to perform various physical activities such as reaching, bending, and walking for extended periods underscores the active nature of the job. By supporting team goals and upholding quality standards, you will contribute significantly to the prestigious reputation of the Ritz-Carlton.

The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a minimum of one year of related experience in food and beverage service.
