This resort blends the charm of a traditional grand hotel with modern conveniences and personalized service, making it a landmark destination for travelers seeking a blend of relaxation, luxury, and exceptional service. The Broadmoor offers a diverse range of services including fine dining, spa treatments, golf, outdoor adventures, and event hosting, all supported by a dedicated and passionate team of professionals.
The Broadmoor is currently seeking an In Room Dining Server to join its esteemed team. This role is integral to maintaining the high-quality service expected by the resort's discerning guests. The In Room Dining Server position is an on-call role with a variable schedule, offering a competitive pay rate of $18.00 per hour. The primary responsibility in this role is to provide impeccable room service that includes delivering food, wine, hospitality items, and fine dining experiences directly to guest rooms. This position demands attention to detail, ensuring each tray and table setup adheres to the resort's five-star quality standards.
The role also extends to supporting bar service, coffee service, and luncheon service in meeting rooms, requiring versatility and a thorough understanding of various hospitality components. Candidates in this position will be expected to carry trays or use serving carts efficiently, set tables, maintain cleanliness and stock of in-room dining supplies, and assist in retrieving outstanding items from guest areas. In addition to direct guest service, In Room Dining Servers will perform assigned side work and contribute to the training of new employees, supporting both operational excellence and team cohesion.
Working at The Broadmoor means being an ambassador of a prestigious brand that values teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic, and possess strong interpersonal communication skills. This position involves some physical activity, such as occasional heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds and working in environments that may be indoors and outdoors. A valid driver’s license is required, with specific age restrictions for those operating resort vehicles.
Candidates will benefit from comprehensive training programs and the opportunity to grow their career within one of the longest-running and most respected luxury resorts in the world. The Broadmoor’s culture promotes family, community, and professional development, encouraging team members to achieve personal growth and deliver unparalleled guest service. Employees enjoy expansive benefits packages, including health and dental insurance and 401k options, along with local discounts, fostering a supportive work environment that values its workforce.
