The In-Room Dining Manager role is pivotal in ensuring that guests enjoy exceptional, personalized dining experiences delivered right to their rooms. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, the In-Room Dining Manager oversees the daily operations of the in-room dining service with a focus on quality, consistency, and efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with various departments including Culinary, Stewarding, and Front Office to maintain seamless service delivery and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include supervising, training, and mentoring the in-room dining team to foster a positive work environment, monitoring order accuracy and presentation standards, and handling guest concerns with professionalism and urgency. The manager supports financial and operational objectives by assisting with scheduling, payroll, labor management, and inventory controls. Compliance with Four Seasons’ high standards and local health and safety regulations is essential. Additionally, the role partners with Front Office and Guest Experience teams to coordinate special requests and VIP services, contributing to memorable guest stays.

The position demands a candidate with a minimum of two years of food and beverage experience in a luxury hotel environment, ideally with leadership or supervisory experience in in-room dining or high-volume fine dining settings. Strong knowledge of service standards, cost control, labor management, and excellent communication skills in English are vital. A college degree in hospitality management or equivalent experience is preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods and handle lifting duties. Flexibility in work schedules is also necessary to meet operational needs.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience in a luxury hotel including leadership or supervisory experience
  • Thorough knowledge of service cost control in food and beverage and labor management
  • Excellent reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to have flexible schedule according to operational needs
  • College degree preferably in hospitality management or equivalent experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods lift up to 50 lbs and push pull as needed during shifts
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States

Job Duties

  • Support the daily operation of in-room dining ensuring exceptional quality consistency and personalized guest service standards are maintained at all times
  • Supervise train mentor and motivate in-room dining employees while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Maintain a strong presence during service periods to support the team engage with guests and ensure seamless operations
  • Monitor order accuracy delivery timing and presentation standards to ensure an elevated luxury dining experience
  • Handle guest concerns service recovery opportunities and special requests with professionalism and urgency
  • Collaborate with Culinary and hotel leadership teams to support menu updates promotions and operational initiatives
  • Assist with scheduling payroll oversight labor management and inventory controls to support financial objectives
  • Ensure compliance with Four Seasons standards as well as all local health safety and sanitation regulations
  • Partner with Front Office and Guest Experience teams to coordinate VIP arrivals amenities and customized in-room dining experiences
  • Participate in departmental meetings training programs and development initiatives to drive continuous improvement
