Job Requirements

  • Must have 2-4 years of relevant sales or event coordination experience

  • Valid driver's license and reliable local transportation
  • Preferably have background in pastry or dessert sales
  • Familiarity with wedding industry software
  • Established connections in wedding or hospitality sectors
  • Experience in hospitality or food service operations
  • Demonstrated sales success in a related field

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, event coordination, or hospitality, preferably in the wedding industry
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and contract management skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing schedules or logistics, ideally related to food service or event deliveries
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Leadership capabilities with desire to grow and develop a team
  • Self-starter with passion for building business relationships
  • Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and off-site events
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Preferably background in dessert, pastry, or foodservice sales
  • Familiarity with wedding/event platforms such as The Knot or WeddingWire
  • Existing network in the wedding, events, or hospitality industry
  • Experience with hospitality or food operations
  • Proven sales record in a similar industry

Job Duties

  • Proactively identify and engage new clients for wedding and special event bakery orders
  • Build and maintain a steady pipeline of inquiries through outreach, follow-ups, and lead tracking
  • Drive sales by converting leads into signed contracts and nurturing long-term relationships
  • Cultivate partnerships with local businesses to become their preferred dessert vendor
  • Conduct client consultations to understand their vision, preferences, and event details
  • Present customized offerings tailored to individual events
  • Schedule and manage tastings, proposals, and payment timelines with thorough documentation
  • Own the full contract management process, ensuring all terms, pricing, and timelines are clear and accurate
  • Coordinate closely with pastry, kitchen, and service teams to ensure seamless order execution
  • Manage driver schedules and delivery logistics to ensure on-time, accurate event fulfillment
  • Provide outstanding client service from inquiry to delivery and post-event follow-up
  • Maintain an active sales log and track clients' future milestones
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability
  • Develop systems, processes, and internal communication workflows
  • Grow and manage a team as the department expands
  • Build and maintain relationships with wedding planners, event venues, hotels, concierge teams, corporate offices, florists, photographers, and bridal shops
  • Represent the brand at bridal shows, industry events, and networking opportunities
  • Develop co-branded marketing campaigns and referral programs
  • Stay updated on wedding industry trends, seasonal demands, and competitor offerings
