The resort provides an ideal setting for the In House Marketing Coordinator role, which is a full-time position designed to engage with prospective and current owners. This role involves direct in-person marketing efforts within the resort environment, serving as a frontline brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure Co. The In House Marketing Coordinator is instrumental in scheduling guests to meet with sales representatives, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience that encourages participation in sales presentations. This position plays a crucial role in fostering client relationships by distributing important materials such as parking passes, activity schedules, and area brochures to enhance the guest experience.

The coordinator will partner closely with resort staff, managing arrival sheets and screening potential customers according to company guidelines. Responsibilities include making sales-tour reservations and collecting deposits, highlighting the coordinator's contribution to both marketing and sales processes. The role calls for a professional and positive demeanor, adherence to compliance standards, and achievement of minimum performance goals. Continuous professional development is emphasized through mandatory attendance at training sessions and department meetings, staying updated on marketing trends and information.

This position requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings, reflecting the hospitality nature of the resort industry. The ideal candidate will bring 1 to 3 years of sales or marketing experience, though this is preferred and not mandatory, and must possess proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills. Clear communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment are essential. Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree being preferred. Job Duties

  • Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure
  • Partner with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in
  • Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
  • Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits
  • Distribute parking passes, activity schedules and area brochures to the guest
  • Greet, present and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually
  • Must meet production standards on a weekly basis
