This position focuses on in-person marketing within the resort environment, engaging with both prospective and current owners. The role centers on scheduling guests to meet with sales representatives for presentations that could potentially lead to sales and long-term customer relationships. As a representative, you will serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations, one of the company's flagship brands. Your responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting information, incentivizing attendance at sales-preview tours, and partnering with resort staff to coordinate guest arrivals and tour schedules. The role requires a combination of interpersonal skills, sales acumen, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a team setting.
This is an hourly position with a starting wage of $18.90 plus commissions and bonuses, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in sales and marketing within the travel and hospitality industry. The position requires no travel outside the home site’s area, allowing you to build strong relationships within the local resort community. Job Duties
- Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations
- Partner with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in
- Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
- Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
- Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits
- Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings
- Keep current on marketing information, industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually
