In this role, the Caregiver will be responsible for assisting clients with a variety of personal care tasks such as bathing, oral care, hair and nail care, dressing, medication reminders, incontinence care, and ambulation. The caregiver will also help maintain a safe and clean home environment for the client, plan and prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding when necessary, and provide housekeeping and laundry services. An essential part of the role includes offering companionship through conversation, emotional support, and engaging clients in mind-stimulating activities.

This position requires documenting all services provided including dates and times, as well as reporting any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor. The physical aspects of the job involve moderate activity like handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally, exposure to household chemicals, and intermittent sitting, standing, bending, and moving throughout working hours.
