Assisting Hands is a trusted and compassionate home care company dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care services to seniors in their own homes. Specializing in non-medical care, Assisting Hands focuses on enhancing the quality of life for elderly clients by offering support in daily activities, companionship, and safety. With a strong emphasis on respect, empathy, and individualized care plans, the company strives to create a nurturing environment where seniors can maintain their independence and dignity while living comfortably in familiar surroundings. Established as a community-focused care provider, Assisting Hands has built a solid reputation for reliable and compassionate caregiving throughout the regions it serves, helping families by offering peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in capable hands.
Assisting Hands is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join their team on a full-time and part-time basis. This role is essential in delivering care that positively impacts the lives of seniors by assisting them with their daily living needs in the comfort and safety of their own homes. Caregivers will have the opportunity to work flexible schedules including short hour shifts, mornings, afternoons, and 12-hour day or night shifts, allowing for a perfect work-life balance tailored to individual availability. Offered wages range from $15.50 to $16.50 per hour with weekly pay and direct deposit ensuring timely compensation. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package is provided to support the caregivers' well-being and professional growth.
The caregiver's duties span a variety of essential support services including personal hygiene assistance such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments. Providing companionship and emotional support is a significant component of this role, helping to alleviate feelings of isolation among seniors. The role requires reliability, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families. Candidates must have experience as caregivers, STNAs, CNAs, or HHAs and possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle to reach client locations. Flexibility to work alternate weekends and a dedication to improving the quality of life for seniors are mandatory for this position.
Joining Assisting Hands means becoming part of a supportive team that values every caregiver's contribution and provides 24/7 on-call support to ensure their success and well-being. The company encourages growth and development by offering professional development assistance and values work environments that embrace flexibility and respect. Those who become caregivers here don’t just earn a paycheck; they embrace a meaningful career that makes a tangible difference in the lives of others, fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment. This rewarding career opportunity equips caregivers with the tools, resources, and community to thrive long term.
