Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Treat clients with dignity and respect
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Effective communication skills
- Compliance with State of Colorado regulations
- Ability to pass National Criminal Background Check
- Colorado Adult Protective Services Check
- DMV check
- Drug screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous caregiving experience is an advantage but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Willingness to complete training and ongoing education
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s/Dementia care is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide companionship to clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Prepare meals for clients
- Give medication reminders
- Run errands on behalf of clients
- Provide transportation to appointments
- Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, hygiene, and specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia care
