Job Requirements
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- full mobility of hands and arms to perform repetitive tasks
- punctuality and reliability
- well-groomed appearance with clean uniform
- self-motivated and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus but not required
- ability to read and understand recipes and food tickets
- ability to work efficiently under pressure
- good communication skills
- teamwork and positive attitude
Job Duties
- prepare food according to IHOP recipes and standards
- prepare food within outlined ticket times
- read food tickets or receive verbal instruction
- use knives and food preparation equipment
- operate large volume cooking equipment like flat tops, deep fryers, stoves and dishwashers
- set up equipment and verify stock
- maintain a clean and sanitary work area
