Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and prepare food recipes according to IHOP specifications
- Ability to prepare food within outlined ticket times
- Ability to read food tickets or follow verbal instructions
- Experience in using knives and other food preparation tools
- Experience operating large volume cooking equipment such as flat tops, deep fryers, stoves, and dishwashers
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Create a variety of meals including pancakes and other breakfast items according to IHOP recipes
- Set up kitchen equipment and workstations prior to shifts
- Verify stock levels and communicate needs to management
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment throughout the shift
- Read and follow food tickets or verbal instructions accurately
- Use kitchen tools and equipment safely, including flat tops, deep fryers, stoves, and dishwashers
- Prepare food within designated ticket times to ensure timely service
