Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Full mobility of hands and arms for repetitive tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Well-groomed with a clean uniform
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand food recipes
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to understand and follow instructions
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

- Ability to work well within a team
Job Duties
- Read and prepare all food recipes to IHOP specifications
- Prepare food within outlined ticket times
- Read food tickets or receive verbal instruction
- Use knives and other food preparation equipment
- Operate large volume cooking equipment like flat tops, deep fryers, stoves and dishwashers
- Set up kitchen equipment and verify stock
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
