Job Requirements

  • Previous cooking experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Full mobility of hands and arms for repetitive tasks
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Well-groomed with a clean uniform

Job Duties

  • Read and prepare all food recipes to IHOP specifications
  • Prepare food within outlined ticket times
  • Read food tickets or receive verbal instruction
  • Use knives and other food preparation equipment
  • Operate large volume cooking equipment like flat tops, deep fryers, stoves and dishwashers
  • Set up kitchen equipment and verify stock
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
