Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Full mobility of hands and arms while performing repetitive tasks
Reliable and punctual
Well-groomed with clean uniform
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to work well with others

Job Qualifications

Ability to read and follow food recipes and specifications
Experience with kitchen equipment such as flat tops, deep fryers, and stoves preferred
Strong communication skills for understanding tickets and instructions
Ability to work efficiently within a team setting
Basic food safety knowledge
Positive attitude and work ethic
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks

Job Duties

Prepare food according to IHOP specifications and recipes
Ensure food is prepared within outlined ticket times
Read food tickets or follow verbal instructions accurately
Use knives and other food preparation equipment safely and effectively
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as flat tops, deep fryers, and stoves
Set up equipment and verify stock levels
Maintain clean and sanitary work areas throughout the shift
