Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Full mobility of hands and arms while performing repetitive tasks
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Well-groomed with clean uniform
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well with others

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read and follow food recipes and specifications
  • Experience with kitchen equipment such as flat tops, deep fryers, and stoves preferred
  • Strong communication skills for understanding tickets and instructions
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team setting
  • Basic food safety knowledge
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks

Job Duties

  • Prepare food according to IHOP specifications and recipes
  • Ensure food is prepared within outlined ticket times
  • Read food tickets or follow verbal instructions accurately
  • Use knives and other food preparation equipment safely and effectively
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as flat tops, deep fryers, and stoves
  • Set up equipment and verify stock levels
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work areas throughout the shift
