Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred but not required
ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
strong communication skills
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation
physical stamina to handle prolonged standing and lifting

Job Duties

Prepare food according to IHOP recipes and standards
operate cooking equipment such as flat tops, deep fryers, and stoves
read and follow food tickets or verbal instructions
set up and maintain kitchen equipment and work area cleanliness
ensure food is prepared within outlined ticket times
verify ingredient stock and manage kitchen inventory
practice safe food handling and sanitation procedures
