Job Qualifications

experience in food preparation or cooking preferred but not required
ability to follow recipes and prepare food consistently
good communication skills to understand food tickets and instructions
ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen safety procedures

Job Duties

Create a variety of meals according to established recipes
set up kitchen equipment and verify stock availability
maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
prepare food within designated ticket times
read food tickets or follow verbal instructions accurately
use kitchen tools including knives and cooking equipment safely
operate large volume cooking equipment such as flat tops, deep fryers, stoves, and dishwashers
