Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to read and follow written work instructions
- mechanical and electrical fundamental knowledge
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software
- good organizational skills and attention to detail
- good interpersonal skills
- prior industry experience is a plus

Job Duties
- Prepares work for assembly by visually inspecting incoming materials and tools for defects
- assembles evaporator by welding, brazing, wrapping, soldering, and foaming using hand and power tools following verbal, written and electronic instructions and engineering drawings
- maintains production and quality standards by inspecting parts, checking copper tubing for leaks, detecting malfunctions, deburring sharp edges, and cleaning units
- maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and reporting hazards
- resolves problems by notifying supervisors to obtain additional information or resources
- documents actions by completing production, inspection, and foam records
- keeps equipment and tools operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and reporting needed repairs
- performs daily inspections of bench tools and work-in-progress parts
- assists in training new employees by demonstrating proper techniques and giving verbal instruction
- maintains inventory levels using various inventory control systems
- willing to move to any department as needed
- provides support to other departments upon request
- performs other related duties as assigned
