Follett Products, LLC, recognized for its commitment to producing superior-quality ice storage, transport, and dispensing systems, expanded its manufacturing capabilities in 2024 with the addition of the Kloppenberg facility in Denver, Colorado. Now operating as Follett Denver, this facility operates under the prestigious Middleby Corporation family of companies, a renowned leader in diverse foodservice, beverage, and refrigeration equipment manufacturing. Currently, Follett Denver is seeking to add an Ice Maker Evaporator Assembler to their dedicated production team. This role is essential to the assembly and functionality of the ice maker evaporator units that form a critical component of refrigeration systems. The Ice Maker Evaporator Assembler is responsible for assembling these units by performing tasks such as cleaning, brazing, welding, soldering, and foaming various components. Attention to detail and adherence to established work methods are paramount to ensuring both the high quality of the product and a safe working environment.
The Ice Maker Evaporator Assembler will engage in the preparation of work via thorough inspection of incoming materials and tools and will use hand and power tools to follow precise verbal, written, and electronic instructions along with engineering drawings. Their meticulous work maintains Follett’s production and quality standards, which includes inspecting parts, conducting leak tests, deburring components, and cleaning units using specialized processes. This position demands proactive participation in maintaining a safe and clean working environment by following company procedures and promptly communicating any hazards.
Beyond technical skills, this role involves collaboration and communication to resolve issues by escalating them to supervisors as necessary and thorough documentation of production activities, inspection outcomes, and material usage. The Ice Maker Evaporator Assembler will also contribute to the upkeep of equipment and tools by following manufacturer instructions regarding use and repair needs and will participate in training new employees, sharing expertise and ensuring consistent application of assembly techniques.

Job Duties
- Prepares work for assembly by visually inspecting incoming materials and tools for defects
- assembles evaporator by welding, brazing, wrapping, soldering, and foaming using hand and power tools following verbal, written and electronic instructions and engineering drawings
- maintains production and quality standards by inspecting parts, checking copper tubing for leaks, detecting malfunctions, deburring sharp edges, and cleaning units
- maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and reporting hazards
- resolves problems by notifying supervisors to obtain additional information or resources
- documents actions by completing production, inspection, and foam records
- keeps equipment and tools operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and reporting needed repairs
- performs daily inspections of bench tools and work-in-progress parts
- assists in training new employees by demonstrating proper techniques and giving verbal instruction
- maintains inventory levels using various inventory control systems
- willing to move to any department as needed
- provides support to other departments upon request
- performs other related duties as assigned
