Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- at least 2 years experience in hospitality, event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related field
- or 2-year degree in hospitality or related major
- minimum 1 year experience in related field
- ability to lead and manage teams
- proficiency with event management software
- strong customer service skills
- excellent communication abilities
- ability to handle guest issues calmly and effectively
- capable of managing budgets and inventory
- experience in employee training and performance assessment

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in hospitality, event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related area

Job Duties
- Assists in planning and execution of meetings and special events
- assists in the implementation of departmental strategies
- promotes and assists in the execution of all property events with seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales
- leads the team to meet and exceed daily and weekly goals including sales, attendance, guest satisfaction, and safety
- researches and analyzes new products, pricing and services of competition
- assists in apprising property of all groups impacting property operations
- assists in execution of event management strategy aligned with business strategy
- conducts daily walkthroughs of banquet floor
- learns, operates and trains employees on event software systems
- assists in developing relationships with outside vendors and establishing prices
- creates opportunities to upsell during event planning
- assists in managing controllable expenses
- manages merchandise inventory and enhances displays
- creates a positive atmosphere that meets or exceeds guest expectations
- sets positive example for guest relations
