Job Description

FleetGenius, LLC is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in providing nationwide, end-to-end sustainable container management services. Established to enhance operational efficiency in waste and recycling container logistics, FleetGenius offers a comprehensive suite of services including delivery, retrieval, repair, warranty administration, and recycling for both plastic and steel container inventories. The company prides itself on integrating technology with sustainability, operating a fully paperless system that captures all service activities electronically. This approach ensures accuracy, efficiency, and complete traceability, positioning FleetGenius as a leader in sustainable container management solutions across the United States.

FleetGenius also expands its service offerings beyond container management with bulky waste pickup and apartment valet services, addressing broader waste management needs for various customer segments. The organization’s forward-thinking approach combines ecological responsibility with customer-focused service quality, contributing to greener communities and streamlined waste management processes.

The Hybrid Driver role at FleetGenius is a vital position that supports the company’s mission by ensuring the safe and efficient transportation and management of waste and recycling containers. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour, offering weekly pay. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, typically from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional Saturday shifts that can extend to 10 or 12 hours.

In this position, drivers operate 16-foot box trucks to deliver and retrieve containers at customer locations. The drivers are responsible for navigating various challenging environments such as driveways, alleyways, busy roadways, lots, and areas with tight overhead clearances. Beyond driving, the role includes maintaining and managing yard operations, conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections using standard Vehicle Inspection Reports, completing necessary documentation such as customer tickets and end-of-day reports, and utilizing smartphone devices to follow routing technology and manage inventory data.

The job requires physical endurance for lifting heavy objects, pushing and pulling weights up to 450 pounds on wheels, and working in all weather conditions. Candidates must be adaptable to technology, capable of operating within FleetGenius’s electronic systems. While forklift operation is a plus, it is not a mandatory requirement. The company emphasizes safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service, making this role a critical part of its operational success.

This role is suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and seek a position that combines driving, technology, physical activity, and interaction with sustainable waste management efforts. FleetGenius offers a supportive and positive working environment with opportunities for advancement and provides necessary work equipment such as company phones, uniforms, and safety gear. An employee benefits package accompanies the role, including medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance, along with retirement savings plans, paid time off, and various voluntary insurance options.
