Job Description
Aramark Healthcare+ is a division of Aramark, a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform services. With a presence in 15 countries and a commitment to service excellence, Aramark Healthcare+ specializes in providing innovative and high-quality food and nutrition services to healthcare facilities. The company supports multiple hospital accounts, ensuring nutritional care tailored to patient needs while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The healthcare segment of Aramark focuses on enhancing patient and staff experiences through superior food service operations and innovative technology.
This particular role is for a CBORD Administrator at RWJBarnabas Health (RWJBH) located in Central New Jersey, supporting seven hospital accounts across Middlesex, Somerset, and Monmouth Counties. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining remote work with onsite visits to seven hospital locations on a monthly basis. It is important to note that starting in 2026, the role may require an increased onsite presence due to the addition of new accounts. The compensation range for this position is between $75,000 and $90,000 annually, reflecting Aramark’s commitment to offering competitive and fair wages.
The CBORD Administrator plays a critical role in managing and maintaining the CBORD patient menu system and floor stock system within these hospitals. Responsibilities include updating patient diet information, food allergen tagging, nutrition information, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of menus through regular reviews. The administrator also collaborates closely with food service teams, dietitians, culinary staff, and hospital administration to ensure patient dining operations run smoothly.
An essential part of the role involves creating and delivering training to food service teams on critical topics such as patient diets, modified textures, and food allergies to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. The CBORD Administrator also generates and analyzes patient dining reports, troubleshoots any patient dining issues, and coordinates with various stakeholders to optimize food production forecasting and patient tray data.
The position demands regular onsite visits to hospital locations for audits, training sessions, and updates with food service teams, highlighting the importance of hands-on leadership and effective communication. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and managing projects efficiently within a healthcare environment that includes both hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms and floors to kitchens and serving areas.
Aramark Healthcare+ values diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities and fostering an environment where all employees can thrive regardless of their background or characteristics protected by law. The company supports its employees with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans like 401(k), and paid time off such as parental leave and disability coverage, varying by location and eligibility status.
This CBORD Administrator opportunity at Aramark Healthcare+ offers a challenging and rewarding career path for professionals with a background in nutrition, dietetics, or food service operations in acute or long-term care settings. The role blends technical system management with team collaboration, training, and hands-on service delivery in multiple hospital environments, making it ideal for dynamic individuals seeking to grow their expertise in healthcare food service management.
