Job Requirements

  • education level equivalent to a bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of three years experience in hotel or hospitality management
  • ability to work 47.5 hours or more per week
  • capability to supervise and lead at least three full-time associates
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • must be able to work independently and exercise judgment

Job Qualifications

  • experience in hotel management or related hospitality field
  • proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop staff
  • strong understanding of revenue generation and cost control
  • excellent guest service and communication skills
  • ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • experience directing the work of multiple associates
  • knowledge of hotel operational best practices

Job Duties

  • ensure guest satisfaction and efficient operation of the hotel by supervising operating departments in the absence of the General Manager and/or Manager on Duty
  • assist the General Manager by focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, and associate development
  • direct the work of at least three full-time associates or their equivalents
  • perform administrative, executive, and professional tasks more than 50 percent of the time
  • use discretion and independent judgment more than 50 percent of the time
  • work as necessary to complete job responsibilities
  • maintain operational standards and promote teamwork among associates
  • support daily management and strategic initiatives to enhance hotel performance
