Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of progressive culinary experience or culinary degree with applicable experience
  • Possession of a Food Handlers Certification compliant with state requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and coordinate kitchen staff
  • Commitment to maintaining high sanitation and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field
  • Food Handlers Certification required
  • Able to work effectively under pressure maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining the best course of action
  • A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests and effectively conveys ideas and solutions
