Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related experience
- ability to carry out detailed but simple written or verbal instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- availability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- adherence to company hygiene and dress standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months or less of related experience

- understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers’ names and to address them by name when possible
- takes customer orders at the Hy-Chi Department counter
- answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly service including order taking
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- reviews orders for the day
- practices proper sanitation procedures and keeps work area clean
- reviews the freshness and appearance of food
- ensures adequate food supply and follows production list
- anticipates product needs daily
- prepares, finishes, and replenishes products as necessary
- pulls product from cooler/freezer for cooking
- checks in and puts away product while reviewing invoices
- runs department register and processes payments where applicable
- removes trash in a timely manner
- maintains strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress code
- adheres to company policies and reports to work on time
