Hy-Vee is currently seeking a Hy-Chi Department Clerk to join their team. This non-exempt position involves responsibilities within the Hy-Chi department, including filling customer orders and handling food safely. The role is critical for ensuring that Hy-Vee’s commitment to freshness, quality, and customer satisfaction is upheld. The Hy-Chi Department Clerk will be responsible for ordering and receiving products, verifying that orders are correct, labeling and dating items, and properly storing products. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards.

The position involves direct interaction with customers. Providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service is essential to maintain a positive company image. The clerk will greet customers, assist with locating products, take customer orders at the Hy-Chi counter, and respond to customer inquiries both in-person and by phone.
