Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or less of similar or related experience
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, finger dexterity, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Availability to report to work on time and adhere to company policies
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to provide courteous and friendly customer service
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with team members
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Learn customers’ names and assist with product location and order preparation
- Answer telephone calls and take customer orders
- Work with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- Review orders and food freshness daily
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area
- Prepare and replenish product
- Check in and put away product and review invoices
- Operate the department register and handle payments
- Remove trash in a timely manner
- Adhere to company policies and dress guidelines
- Wash dishes, order products and supplies when needed
- Price products for customers
- Deliver orders when required
- Assist in other store areas as needed
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned
