Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months or less of related experience
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions
- ability to maintain personal hygiene and adhere to dress code
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with pressure
- availability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
- ability to perform simple addition and subtraction
- skills in copying figures, counting, and recording
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- possess good communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers’ names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products, loading/unloading, passing along suggestions
- answers the telephone promptly and takes customer orders
- takes customer orders at the Hy-Chi Department counter
- works with co-workers as a team
- reviews orders for the day
- practices proper sanitation procedures and keeps the work area clean
- reviews food for freshness
- ensures an adequate food supply and develops or follows a production list
- anticipates daily product needs
- prepares, finishes, and replenishes product
- pulls product from cooler/freezer
- checks in product and reviews invoices
- runs the department register and handles payments where applicable
- removes trash promptly
- maintains personal hygiene and dress standards
- adheres to company policies and reports to work on time
