Job Description

Robert Madden Industries, LTD. is a well-established heating and air conditioning wholesale distributor with over 40 years of experience serving customers across Texas. The company proudly offers a wide range of equipment and supplies from trusted brands like Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Day and Night. With various locations throughout Texas, Robert Madden Industries combines the scale and reach of a large distributor with the personalized, family-owned service that has been the foundation of its business since 1979. This distinctive blend allows the company to maintain close relationships with its customers while efficiently managing extensive inventory and distribution operations.

As an HVAC warehouse associate and delivery driver at Robert Madden Industries, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s daily operations. This multifaceted position involves managing warehouse activities such as receiving, inspecting, organizing, and preparing HVAC equipment and supplies for delivery, as well as ensuring accurate and safe delivery to customers across the region. The role demands strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service, while also requiring safe and efficient driving skills to navigate delivery routes effectively.

In the warehouse, your responsibilities will include receiving shipments, verifying items for accuracy and quality, organizing inventory through shelving and labeling, and maintaining updated records to ensure stock integrity. You will also assist with equipment maintenance that ranges from basic cleaning to minor repairs, ensuring the warehouse remains a safe environment for all staff by adhering to safety regulations, especially when handling hazardous materials.

On the delivery side, you will plan efficient routes considering factors such as traffic and weather, load and unload vehicles securely, provide exceptional customer service at delivery locations, maintain detailed delivery documentation, and ensure the delivery vehicle stays in good working condition through routine inspections. This role is essential in bridging the warehouse operations and customer satisfaction through timely and professional deliveries.

While the position does not include supervisory duties, it offers a dynamic work environment where your contribution directly impacts the successful operation of the company. Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, and knowledge of HVAC products are beneficial, as are good communication skills and the ability to problem-solve. The ability to safely operate an 18-foot box truck or 24-foot stake bed truck and lift heavy objects regularly is required. Additionally, forklift certification or willingness to obtain one enhances your effectiveness in this role.

Overall, joining Robert Madden Industries as an HVAC Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver provides an opportunity to be part of a reputable company with a long-standing tradition of quality and customer service in the HVAC industry across Texas. This full-time role is ideal for individuals who enjoy diverse responsibilities and thrive in a hands-on environment with clear impact on business operations and customer satisfaction.
