Job Description

Robert Madden Industries, LTD. is a well-established heating and air conditioning wholesale distributor that has been serving the Texas area for over 40 years. The company specializes in providing high-quality HVAC equipment and supplies from renowned brands such as Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Day and Night. With multiple locations across Texas, Robert Madden Industries stands out in the market by offering the capacity to serve numerous locations throughout the state while maintaining the personalized, family-owned atmosphere that has been its hallmark since its founding in 1979. This unique blend of large-scale operation and family-owned values makes it a trusted name in the HVAC distribution sector.

The HVAC Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver position at Robert Madden Industries is a dynamic and essential role designed to support the company’s operations efficiently. This role requires an individual who can expertly manage warehouse functions including receiving, organizing, and preparing orders, while also handling delivery duties that demand safe and timely transportation of equipment and supplies to customers. Combining warehouse responsibilities with driving, the position emphasizes both physical capability and technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of products from the warehouse to the customer, contributing directly to the overall customer satisfaction and operational success of the company.

In this role, the Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver will be responsible for inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, managing inventory through meticulous organization, and preparing orders accurately for dispatch. Additionally, the role involves basic maintenance of HVAC equipment, ensuring safety compliance within the warehouse, and maintaining detailed records of inventory and deliveries. On the delivery side, this individual must plan efficient routes, safely load and unload equipment, provide excellent customer service during deliveries, and maintain accurate documentation. Routine vehicle maintenance is also a critical aspect to keep delivery operations running without interruption.

This position does not carry supervisory responsibilities but demands a high level of accountability and self-management. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and have experience driving large trucks, including 18-foot box trucks and 24-foot stake beds. Forklift certification or a willingness to obtain one is required, and the ability to handle heavy lifting frequently is necessary due to the physical nature of the job. Strong communication skills, computer literacy, knowledge of local traffic laws, and problem-solving abilities are also key to success in this position.

Robert Madden Industries offers an opportunity to work in a stable yet evolving company that values both tradition and innovation. Employees benefit from a supportive work environment where their efforts directly impact the company’s reputation and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a varied workload, combining physical activity with logistical challenges, and who take pride in contributing to a family-oriented company with a long history of success in the HVAC industry.
