This focus on environmental responsibility is reflected not only in their products and solutions but also in their corporate culture and mission. As a company that consistently embraces cutting-edge technology and sustainability, Trane Technologies serves a wide range of clients, including healthcare facilities, educational institutions, manufacturing sites, and commercial offices.
The position available is a field-based HVAC Service Technician role, responsible for providing primary service and maintenance support to customers within a defined market. This role requires expertise in commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in diverse commercial environments. The technician will work closely alongside project managers, team leaders, and customers to ensure optimal functioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, supporting both new facility setups and retrofit projects in existing facilities. Working directly for a leading manufacturer, the successful candidate will gain access to in-depth technical support, advanced training on emerging technologies, and structured career development paths with opportunities for growth.
This position involves hands-on problem solving by utilizing knowledge in air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts. The technician will act as the direct point of contact for customer service, representing the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Employees in this role will use state-of-the-art diagnostic software along with traditional hand tools, working from blueprints or engineering specifications to efficiently diagnose and repair equipment.
Trane Technologies emphasizes a strong team-oriented environment with a willingness to adapt to business needs by maintaining flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays. Maintaining high safety standards and accountability for company assets is a priority in this role. The company places great importance on safety-sensitive roles, requiring adherence to strict health and safety protocols, including additional drug screening if necessary.
The hourly base pay for this position ranges from $23.80 to $43.85, offering competitive compensation tailored to factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and union status. Though the position is not incentive or commission eligible, it offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees and their families from day one. Benefits include health insurance, family-building benefits such as fertility coverage and adoption assistance, 401(k) match up to 6% plus an additional 2% company contribution, paid time off including vacation, holidays, floating holidays, sick leave, and options to support volunteer and parental leave. In addition, the company offers educational and training opportunities, tuition assistance, and student debt support programs.
