The Human Resources Onboarding Coordinator plays a vital role within the human resources department of an organization, serving as the first point of contact for all new hires during their onboarding process. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. The coordinator ensures the quick and accurate completion of onboarding tasks through clear communication and ownership of the process. Record keeping is also a vital function, as the coordinator stores appropriate employment records generated throughout the onboarding process. Moreover, the coordinator may assist with new hire orientation and occasionally manage onboarding activities for contractors.
Beyond scheduling and administrative responsibilities, this position demands professionalism, excellent customer service, and concierge skills, combined with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. The role is ideal for candidates with experience using human resource information systems such as ADP, Taleo, and ICIMS, as well as familiarity with texting systems like TextRecruit or ADP. Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with MS 365 and Microsoft Teams, further supports success in this role.
