The company supports customers through an expansive selection of over 120 product categories, more than 250 brands, and upwards of 39,000 SKUs, highlighting its capability to provide both stock and customized packaging solutions.
The company emphasizes sustainability through a deeply rooted vision based on three pillars: products, operations, and people. Novolex’s sustainability initiatives play a crucial role in driving growth and shaping the company’s future by embedding responsible practices throughout its operations, products, and workforce engagement. This holistic approach ensures long-term business viability while prioritizing environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
This position is a Human Resources Leadership role dedicated to Novolex's plant facility, where the HR Leader will serve as the key point of contact for all human resources functions at the location. Reporting directly as a primary HR business partner to the Plant Manager and Leadership Team, this role is integral to aligning the workforce strategy with the company's business objectives. The role is responsible for not only managing core HR administrative functions but also for fostering a supportive and high-performing workplace culture that promotes safety, quality, continuous improvement, and employee development.
The HR Leader will drive initiatives around talent attraction, selection, retention, and training, ensuring that team members are effectively supported throughout their employment lifecycle. This role also involves managing complex employee relations issues, recommending resolutions, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws. The HR Leader plays a vital role in organizational development, performance management, and employee engagement while working closely with operations to reinforce a positive and productive environment.
Additionally, this role involves developing and administering various HR programs, policies, and procedures tailored for the plant to advance company goals. The HR Leader contributes to safety programs, training delivery, performance appraisal systems, and the creation of career development opportunities that enhance both technical and interpersonal capabilities. By building strong employee relationships through proactive communication and consistent support, the HR Leader helps maintain a collaborative and motivated workforce that drives business success.
Novolex offers a competitive compensation range for this role, with a salary between $100,000 and $120,000, augmented with bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. The company supports ongoing learning and career advancement through programs such as tuition reimbursement and extensive training resources via its MyLearning platform.
Working conditions include an 8-hour shift with flexibility for additional hours as needed. This role requires the ability to operate office equipment, communicate effectively, and perform physical tasks related to the office and production floor environment. Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to wear required personal protective equipment are essential.
Novolex is committed to equal opportunity employment and embraces diversity, ensuring fair treatment without regard to race, age, gender, disability, or any other protected status.
