Job Description
Hyatt is a globally recognized hospitality company known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through the dedication and attentiveness of its associates. Guests choose Hyatt not only for its renowned service standards but also for the meaningful and efficient service provided by caring team members who go above and beyond to create memorable stays. Hyatt operates numerous hotels worldwide, each offering unique atmospheres and local flavors while maintaining a consistent standard of quality and guest satisfaction.
One of Hyatt's distinguished properties is Hotel Kabuki, a JdV by Hyatt hotel located in the heart of San Francisco's historic Japantown. This boutique hotel uniquely combines modern elegance with cultural charm, offering guests an immersive experience in one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods. Situated just steps away from the bustling Fillmore District and Pacific Heights, Hotel Kabuki provides easy access to iconic San Francisco landmarks including Union Square, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Lombard Street.
Hotel colleagues at Hotel Kabuki take pride in working at a property that is well-known for its distinctive style, exceptional service, and engaging guest experiences. The atmosphere balances a welcoming cultural vibe with professional hospitality, fostering a workplace of teamwork and excellence.
The Human Resources Manager role at Hotel Kabuki is essential in supporting the hotel's operational excellence by managing all facets of human resources. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, this position requires strong HR generalist knowledge with expertise encompassing benefits administration, workforce planning, recruitment and staffing, wage and salary management, labor and associate relations, employee development, and counseling.
This leadership role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with labor laws while ensuring that staffing strategies align with the hotel’s business objectives. The HR Manager will also be responsible for driving workforce training initiatives to enhance associate engagement, productivity, and career growth. A significant aspect of this position involves acting as the Director of Human Resources’ proxy during their absence, effectively running the human resource office and upholding Hyatt’s standards of excellence, service, integrity, and accountability.
The salary range for the Human Resources Manager position at Hotel Kabuki is $61,800 to $86,600, reflecting the importance of the role within the hotel's leadership team. This opportunity is suited for an HR professional passionate about hospitality and looking to contribute to a dynamic and culturally rich environment while advancing their career within a globally respected hotel brand. Joining the Hotel Kabuki HR team means becoming part of a workplace culture that values inclusiveness, professional development, and dedicated guest service excellence.
