Job Duties
- Assist and support management and leadership teams with human resources issues
- Assist employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures
- Monitor and assist managers and supervisors with recruitment and employment issues
- Coordinate and conduct drug testing, reference checks, background checks, DMV records, and social security number verifications
- Maintain applicant flow records, drug test results, orientation, and transfer requests
- Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and input data into human resources information systems
- Assist with new employee orientation
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and company policies
- Maintain accurate employee records such as interview documents and I-9 forms
- Support payroll processing and recordkeeping according to company policies and procedures
- Report employee relations issues to human resources managers
- Create and maintain filing systems
- Generate human resources data reports as needed
- Answer phones and take messages
- Prepare and type correspondence using a computer
- Serve as a human resources subject matter expert and participate in project teams
- Train new employees on human resources processes, programs, policies, and systems
- Adhere to company policies regarding professionalism and confidentiality
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Move, lift, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
